Hormone & Wellness Care for Women and Men
Personalized hormone evaluation and treatment for women and men, including bioidentical hormone pellet therapy, menopause and perimenopause care, testosterone therapy, sexual wellness, and ongoing hormone monitoring.
Individualized Hormone Care
Hormone care should be individualized. We consider your symptoms, medical history, laboratory findings, treatment goals, and overall health before recommending therapy. Bioidentical hormone pellet therapy is a major part of our practice, with additional treatment options available when clinically appropriate.

Hormone Care for WomeN
Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause can affect sleep, energy, mood, sexual health, body composition, and overall quality of life. We provide individualized evaluation and hormone management, including bioidentical hormone pellet therapy when appropriate, with ongoing clinical and laboratory monitoring.
Hormone Care for Men
Low testosterone may contribute to changes in energy, libido, strength, body composition, mood, and overall well-being. We provide comprehensive hormone evaluation and treatment options, including bioidentical testosterone pellet therapy and injectable testosterone when clinically appropriate.

Bioidentical Hormone Pellet Therapy
Pellet therapy is an established part of our hormone practice for both women and men. Small hormone pellets are placed beneath the skin during an office procedure and gradually release hormone over time. Before recommending pellet therapy, we review your symptoms, medical history, laboratory testing, prior treatment, potential benefits and risks, and whether another form of hormone therapy may be more appropriate
Comprehensive Evaluation Before Treatment
Hormone treatment begins with a detailed medical and symptom history, review of current medications, and appropriate laboratory testing. Depending on the patient, evaluation may also include blood count, metabolic testing, prostate-related testing when appropriate, cardiovascular and metabolic risk assessment, and review of sleep, weight, nutrition, and lifestyle.
Ongoing Monitoring
Hormone therapy requires follow-up. We monitor symptoms, treatment response, laboratory results, side effects, and changes in overall health. Treatment may be adjusted over time based on your clinical response and laboratory findings. Our goal is not simply to reach a particular laboratory number, but to manage treatment based on the whole patient.
In-Person and Telemedicine Care
Initial evaluation, follow-up, and laboratory review may be available through telemedicine for appropriate patients. Some treatments, including pellet placement and other office procedures, require an in-person visit. Telemedicine may be available to eligible patients throughout Virginia and in other states where Dr. Baksh is licensed or otherwise authorized to provide care.
Start With a Hormone Consultation
If changes in energy, sleep, sexual health, body composition, or other symptoms are affecting how you feel, the first step is determining whether hormones may be contributing. Schedule a consultation with Dr. Baksh to review your symptoms, medical history, laboratory findings, and treatment options.
